WHAT YOU NEED:
1 & 1/2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Hershey's chocolate syrup
3 oz. cold coffee
1 oz. heavy cream whipped slightly with 1 tbsp sugar {I used my Magic Bullet!} or your trusty can of Redi-whip in a pinch!
WHAT YOU DO:
Combine vodka, syrup and coffee in a shaker full of ice, shake Shake SHAKE, then strain into your glass. Float cold cream gently on top
Looks good...coffee, cream and alcohol, what else could you ask for!
ReplyDeleteYummy!!
ReplyDeleteI used to get in trouble for drinking Hershey's syrup when I was little and I still love the taste. Based on that I think I am sold on this drink. I especially like that you used vanilla vodka instead of plain. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteyou sound like me with the icing.....
DeleteOh, SO yummy! I could slurp a lot of these down :)
ReplyDeleteslurp = to sip rapidly :)
DeleteAlthough, I come from a different viewpoint, I love this post and your sassy personality. Ok, I'll admit it ... I am a coffee snob. My husband laughs at me because I will pour my coffee out and make a new one if it sits too long. Silly, I know but the java has to taste good and there's no reheating. It just changes everything. Happy to find your blog and can't wait to read more.
ReplyDeleteLOL, on the coffee OCD.... direct opposite in the regard HOWEVER this is where the worlds meet.... surely you wouldn't brew fresh coffee for a cold drink? the key to addressing your needs is to promptly refridgerate the "intended" coffee to make it "fresh" cold coffee :)
DeleteI could drink way more of this than is prudent. :)
