Salted Roasted Chickpeas |
These Chickpeas are super easy and soooo yummy. I went very simple and simply salted but if you check hers out she did a sweet & spicy version or you could do any spice you wanted [when I was googling for the recipe I even saw a recipe out there for cinnamon and sugar ones!].
WHAT YOU NEED:
2 cans chickpeas [garbanzo beans], drained and well rinsed
2 tsp olive oil [I used my garlic infused oil]
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp olive oil [I used my garlic infused oil]
2 tsp kosher salt
WHAT YOU DO:
1. Empty the can of beans into a colander & rinse well.

2. Drizzle the oil and stir well to coat.
3. Sprinkle with the salt.
4. Spread on a baking sheet (with edges) trying to keep them relatively close to each other, I found strays burnt.

ENJOY!
I've got to try these. I saw a tv chef make something similar, making spicy chickpeas with paprika and cumin, and they looked really good. How do you store these, assuming they're not eaten all at once? :)
