In my last Featured Five I shared a Shandy from Trevor at Sis. Boom. Blog. I've been so SnakeBite focused in recent years that I forgot how much I love a Shandy.
It's a simple pleasure. Get your favorite Lager and your favorite lemon soda... I adore the San Pellegrino Limonata but 7up will work in a pinch! 1/4 soda, 3/4 lager. AHHHHH.

ReplyDeleteBoth of these drinks always remind me of my semester studying abroad in college--I had my first snake bite in Dublin (as authentic as can be!) and they use black currant syrup in it...amazing!
And I had a "shandy" for the first time in Spain, where I was living, but they called it a "clara." It was part beer and part Lemon Fanta. (A delicious, delicious flavor that you can't get here. Sad.)
Mmmm...keep 'em coming!
I have to say that I'm not much of a beer fan but I've never tried it with anything added. This might be more to my liking.
