Will Work For Sangria {Shiraz & Cabernet Sangria}

Shiraz & Cabernet Sangria
David thinks I haven't been drinking enough.... I think he may be correct.  And although my trial went REALLY well last week I'm still suffering from the residual exhaustion of the inherent stress and gosh darn from thinking so hard ;-/  So, I think I'm spending my Mother's Day weekend relaxing and sipping on some cocktails  and with that always comes some drink posting!

This is one of my favorites....

Simple "Spicey" Sangria
4 servings {or serves one as I like to say :O}

WHAT YOU NEED:
4 ounces Simple Syrup
12 ounces Shiraz
6 ounces Cabernet Sauvignon
8 ounces orange juice
2 ounces lime juice
1 lime sliced into wheels
1 orange sliced into wheels

WHAT YOU DO:
In a pitcher, muddle the limes with the Simple Syrup. Add the Shiraz, Cabernet, the orange and lime juices and orange wheels and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour {but better overnight}. Stir well and strain the drink into ice-filled white wine glasses. Garnish with lime and orange wheels.

AHHH, all better.
